Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 20, 2026
Coco is an alarm clock that only turns off once you complete a challenge. We built it to work almost entirely on your device, and we collect as little as possible. This policy explains what we handle and why.
Who is responsible
Coco is developed by Santiago Panizza("we"). For any privacy question you can reach us at santiagopanizza2005@gmail.com.
Data stored only on your device
Your alarms, wake-up history, metrics and settings are stored locally on your iPhoneusing Apple's SwiftData. This information does not leave your device and we cannot see it. If you delete the app, this data is removed.
Account (Sign in with Apple)
To create your account we use Sign in with Apple. We receive an anonymous user identifier and, only if you choose to share it, your name and email (which may be Apple's private relay address). We use this solely to identify your account and restore your subscription. We never sell it.
Camera and challenge verification
To verify a challenge, the app captures a photo or short video of you doing the exercise or of the requested object. That image is sent to our verification service, which uses a third-party vision AI provider, only to return a pass/fail result. These images are not stored after verification and are not used for any other purpose, advertising or model training on our side.
Subscriptions and payments
Subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your card or payment details — only your subscription status, so we can unlock the app. We use RevenueCat to manage and validate that subscription status; it receives an anonymous identifier and your purchase data (never your card).
Who we share data with
- Apple — account (Sign in with Apple) and payment processing.
- Our AI verification provider — receives only the challenge image to return a result.
- RevenueCat — manages and validates your subscription; receives an anonymous identifier and purchase data.
We do not sell your data and we do not share it for advertising.
Data retention
On-device data stays until you delete it or uninstall the app. Challenge images are not retained after verification. Account data is kept while your account exists; deleting your account from the app removes it.
Your rights
You can access, correct or delete your data. Deleting your account from Settings → Delete account erases your account data; uninstalling the app removes everything stored on your device. You can also write to santiagopanizza2005@gmail.com to exercise your rights.
Children
Coco is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Security
We use reasonable technical measures to protect your information. Traffic to our verification service is encrypted in transit.
International transfers
Our providers (Apple and the AI provider) may process data in countries other than yours. By using Coco you accept this processing.
Changes
We may update this policy. We'll change the date at the top and, for material changes, notify you in the app.
