Terms of Use
Last updated: July 20, 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Coco app ("Coco", the "App"), developed by Santiago Panizza. By downloading or using Coco you accept these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the App.
1. License
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use Coco on Apple devices you own or control, in line with the App Store Terms of Service and the Apple Standard End User License Agreement. The App is licensed, not sold.
2. How Coco works
Coco is an alarm clock designed to make it hard to stay in bed: when it rings, it can only be turned off by completing a challenge (exercise or finding an object), which is verified with the camera and an AI. There is no snooze and the alarm does not turn itself off.
3. Subscriptions (auto-renewable)
Coco is offered through an auto-renewable subscription:
- Weekly plan — $0.79 / week.
- Yearly plan — $19.99 / year, including a 7-day free trial for new users.
Prices are shown in the App and may vary by region and taxes; the final price is always displayed before you confirm the purchase. The following terms apply to auto-renewable subscriptions:
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account upon confirmation of purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period, at the price of the selected plan.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription, and turn off auto-renew, in your App Store account settings after purchase.
- Free trial:if you don't cancel before the trial ends, it automatically converts into a paid subscription. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
4. Refunds
Purchases are handled by Apple. Refund requests are managed by Apple under its policies — request one at reportaproblem.apple.com or through Apple Support.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the App, reverse engineer it, resell it, or use it in a way that breaks the law or infringes third-party rights.
6. AI verification
Challenge verification relies on automated AI and may not be perfect: it can occasionally accept or reject something incorrectly. We provide it "as is" and do not guarantee that it is always accurate.
7. Not a critical or medical device
Coco is a consumer alarm app, not a medical device or a safety-critical system. Do not rely on it as your only alarm for situations where oversleeping could cause harm. Perform the physical challenges responsibly and within your own physical limits.
8. Intellectual property
Coco, its name, logo, design and content are owned by Santiago Panizza and protected by law. These Terms don't grant you any right over them beyond using the App.
9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Coco is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the App.
10. Apple as third-party beneficiary
These Terms are between you and Santiago Panizza, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide support for the App. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them.
11. Termination
We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms. You can stop using Coco at any time by cancelling your subscription and deleting the App.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Argentina, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence.
